KUROMS BEANS REPORT #2 - Senzu - 08-16-2025

Beans Report #2

Hello dear community! Here we are again at another Beans report! Staying true to what I said in the previous Beans report, I'll make these from time to time to let you know what is being worked on, what’s planned and just share the overall work we are doing.

First of all, and most importantly, we are expanding our staff. We have decided on a staff structure we aim to, to be able to focus on the core and important elements of the work required to run a server. We have the GM staff, Balance Team, Development Team, and hopefully at some point Content Team. We are still recruiting. if you feel like you can help out, even if you feel like you lack the knowledge. contact me or Kuro.

We are still looking for:

Balance Team members
- we are looking for 2 more. if you want to improve the progression and balance. help us figure out how to make all classes matter and have a smooth progression. Send us an application!

Content Team members - wanna help us add and improve the content? this is the team for you. if you are interested - send an application!

One more GM staff member - we are looking for someone within specific time zones (GMT +7 - GMT +11) to complete our GM staff for around the clock availability!

Now, for the part you probably came here for. What's being worked on right now?

Being Worked on

Timeless
Set effect for timeless,, to make it so it would be worthwhile to get timeless gear and a place to progress to for end game players. this will be added on the next update and from now on set effects will be the norm moving forward.

Von Leon
Currently working on adding Von Leon himself, with Gear and drops required to craft said gear. The set will include set effect and will be crafted using drops that you can get from LHC mobs + a drop from clearing the boss.

Toad
Another boss we are adding, we introduced Ninja Castle in the last update, now we are also adding Toad to that area. with a custom drop list to make it worthwhile.


Gachapon
Based on your feedback and suggestions, we are going to improve on the Gacha system. This includes removing rewards and adding rewards to the prize pools. changing drop rates (keeping it progressive) and introducing new items that weren't available on the server yet.


Cloth Fragments
a lot of you guys complained about how hard it is to get these, we are working on implementing progressive rates for this based on your feedback. This might require a few adjustments to find a good spot for it. so we appreciate your patience.

Buccaneer
Don't worry you Buccs out there, we are not forgetting or neglecting this beloved pirate class. We are constantly working and trying to fix the animation and delay issues. This time with the help of @leeji we think we identified the issue for transformation animation delay.



Short Term
Complete Tutorial Rework
This requires some work, but preparations have already been made. The plan is to replace the old, boring “learn how to play the game” quests with exciting and rewarding “learn the server features” quests! We also will include a bit more changes to make it a bit more fun. This is going to be out for adventurers only at first. After we test it out and improve on it we will also add it to Aran and Cygnus.

Mage and more Formulas
We planned on releasing the new mage formula for a while. but we are having a hard time getting it to the spot we want. where Gear matters and progression for mages feel’s better and is on par with other classes. We are constantly working on this. and have yet to reach our goal. I put this in short term mostly because this is something that is being worked on constantly but doesn't have an ETA as of now for when we will release it. finishing the mage formula takes priority over other formulas too, which is why we are also delayed with the work planned for other formulas. just know that the work on formulas is not forgotten, just delayed to give you guys the best solution possible.

New Items and Scrolls
As we keep updates going, we plan on adding more items for different level stages and progression to have more variety and more fun progression. This will also include some changes to existing items to provide a more smooth gearing up process and overall help boost damage outputs. This is something we will be working on and adjusting over the span of many updates and slowly improving on. much to expect !

Boss Progression
The next end game boss on the list will be Cygnus, which will probably come in a few updates from now. but on top of that we will add earlier bosses. We are currently still deciding how to reward players for those earlier bosses. We have a general direction but the details are still being figured out. Feel free to suggest bosses you would like to see and also rewards you would like for bosses that don’t come with specific gear or gear sets.(like Toad, or Krexel) we also take into consideration that some bosses feel underwhelming with their rewards and we intend on addressing that and working on it as we go. The current bosses available may be something that isn’t trivial right now. but as more content is added and players will have much more damage. Those bosses will become trivial. Considering this, we do our best to plan out rewards and progression with that in mind.


Long Term

Level cap raise
this is something I mentioned, we are still debating if this should be post launch or during beta. We might also test it in beta but remove it and release it post launch again. Your feedback on this would be much appreciated!

Post level 200 content
This goes hand in hand with the level cap raise. Once we do raise the level cap we will introduce new areas for levels 200 and beyond. This includes more bosses, more mobs and hopefully quests also.

Seasonal Events
As we move forward, we will add seasonal events, with quests, shops, items, cosmetics and more! This is planned for a much later stage but we might start testing some ideas earlier than later. The plan is to have both holiday events and themed events running all year long changing every month or two.

Casino
This is an idea that was inspired by the gamblers we have in the community, after the Gacha changes people voiced their need for more gambling. As we intend on addressing this via improving on the Gachapon system, we are also thinking of adding a Casino where you will be able to play different games to gamble away mesos and items with other players, or solo. This is just an idea, feedback on this is required before we start planning and working on this. So please let us know what you think!

Widget Games
Like with Flappy Stirge, we plan on adding some sort of rewards to playing the widget games. this may take a while and it wont be anything too big cause maybe some of you prefer to not play those, or have certain games you like and others you don't. So this may take a while to figure out how to enable rewards without making those rewards too big but still rewarding.

Please keep in mind that although we plan and will do our best to keep true to these plans. things mentioned here may change or be removed based on future decisions.
