KUROMS ROADMAP
As promised, this roadmap is to share our vision and plans for the future of KuroMS. Although this roadmap is shared to show you, the community, the path we plan to walk in, it is not set in stone, and things may change. Our overall goal is for KuroMS to be a party play oriented server. This doesn't mean soloing won't be possible, but we believe playing with others makes for a more fun experience. We also strive for a broad bossing content and gear progression using crafting as the main tool for gearing up. Furthermore, and a main thing we focus on, is having KuroMS developing always. Whether it's beta or after launch, we strive for a server where you don't hit a content "wall" and have nothing new to do for years. Through slow but constant updates, we will keep players busy with new things each time the "wall" is being reached. We appreciate all the feedback we get, and thank you for helping us test KuroMS!
BETA PLANS
As beta keeps unfolding, we keep developing plans for the future. We have plenty of content available to work with, and slowly but surely this content will be added. For beta we plan on limiting the content released and save stuff for after official launch. We want to keep providing new updates and content after official launch as we do for beta itself.
Content:
Our goal for beta is to achieve a balanced progression up to level 200, while adding Von Leon and Cygnus Empress to the bosses available. Both of those will come with sets (levels 130 and 140) that will require boss clears and farmable items to make through crafting system.
Features and Systems:
The main system that we will expand on is the Crafting system. We plan on adding many valuables to craft through it, whether it's gear, or things like chaos scrolls. We also plan to add Chaos scroll of goodness for better gear making later on. We are also developing the Widget to be able to track damage in expeditions, and also help out in creating parties to defeat bosses. In addition, we will add more PQs and plan on implementing better rewards for PQing, although this is currently planned for down the road and not soon (this includes added PQs that are not available currently).
Duration:
We can't say how long beta will be, it depends on the amount of bugs and other problems appearing along the way, and also how much time certain things will take to make and test. As you will see mentioned below, we will consider an option of beta phase 2, to test things out once we have most of the content we plan to release to prepare for official launch. But currently we don't have an estimate and we are not in a hurry to reach official launch as we want to make sure we provide a good experience and a good server for players to enjoy.
Now for a more detailed explanation of what's to come. Short term means we are currently working on it. Long term means it is planned to be worked on.
SHORT TERM
Bugfixes, Improving Stability
This is our main focus and top priority. As things are added this will remain something we work on throughout and will always be our top priority during the work on the server.
LHC, Future Hene/Perion Exp Changes
This is another priority for the short term. We aim to provide more training maps past TOT, currently these maps are not worth the hassle. This should change in the very near future and is being worked on.
Crafting System
The Crafting system is going to be a fundamental system in KuroMS. It will serve as the main tool to get gear for higher levels. We have plenty of gear progression to add and valuable items such as scrolls will be added to crafting as well.
Cash Shop Expansion
As updates go out, we will slowly add more and more items available to the cash shop. We have plenty, but slow and steady expansion is our approach with the end goal to have a big variety for you to enjoy.
Meso Sink
A lot of feedback we got is about things to spend mesos on. Our crafting system will serve part of that, along with the HP buy. But we also plan on coming up with more ideas as we progress further into beta for spending mesos. Suggestions in this regard will be more than welcome!
LONG TERM
Mage Damage Formula Change
After establishing a concrete foundation, we will turn to changing mages damage formula to be able to balance mages with other classes in a better way, and to make their progression rely on gearing up, while scaling slower but higher.
Skill and Class Changes
As we move forward, we will make more massive changes to classes, to provide each class with its unique feel and usefulness. This will be something we will be working on throughout beta short and long term, but as we progress we will make more significant changes to skills.
Bosses and Gear Progression
As for bosses, during beta we plan to achieve bossing content up to Empress. That includes Von Leon. Both VL and Empress will come with their own Gear sets (although no set effect is in plans as of now). Furthermore we will consider adding earlier bosses based on feedback and suggestions from the community.
Beta Phase 2
With a lot of changes planned, we are considering the option of Beta Phase 2. This means we will do a Wipe during beta. This is not a sure thing, but with major changes to balance and content we feel like this may be an option down the road. If and when this happens, it will be only after we achieve a good balance of classes, add most of the content we plan to during beta and most importantly after Mage damage formula change.
Seasonal Events
In the future we will add seasonal events, like Christmas, Halloween and stuff like that, that will be running throughout the year. These events will be custom made by us, so much to expect in this matter.
OFFICIAL LAUNCH PLANS
Level Cap Raise
We plan to raise level cap. This is something we have yet to decide when it will happen.
Bossing and Gear
More bosses and gear are available to us but has to be worked on some more. We plan on waiting with releasing these for after launch during updates. These bosses and gear sets will be past Cygnus. We have at least 4 bosses past Empress in plan currently while also having gear connected to each of them. We aim to provide progression past 200, and having both gear and bosses be synced to this. As players clear all content we will be releasing new content for an ever fresh and new experience of content.

The widget system launching today with our custom expedition party search is just one example of how we're pushing boundaries. No other server has done this. We're not following - we're leading.
Yes, beta will take time. Yes, we'll have bugs to fix and balance to adjust. But that's the beauty of this journey - we're building it together, step by step, update by update.
