Beans Report #4
Hello again dear community! I am here to give another update and share our progress and what we are working on. Lately we have been working hard on finishing up the planned boss progression for beta while also doing our best to fix the mage issue. Last update we pushed the new mage formula to the live server, and although it had some hiccups we hope to finalize this change soon so we can move on to work on other formulas (like 1 handed weapons and bw and axes for example). While we are working on these things we are also working on more content and improving existing content. We are aware that there are some issues raised by the community we haven’t got to yet since our focus is elsewhere right now we do make note of these things and will get to fixing them. Before I go into details I would like to remind you that we are still looking to expand our staff members.

- GM
We are looking for someone within specific time zones (GMT +7 - GMT +11) to complete our GM staff for around the clock availability!
- Balance Team
We are also looking for more members to our balance team, if you are either good with math and calculations, or want to work on content, wz editing, map editing and more of the like contact us!


so, what have we been working on?



Being Worked on


Pyramid PQ
This has been a work in progress, we have encountered some issues while working on it which caused us to delay finishing the work. Our goal for this PQ is to have it be a level 120+ PQ for an alternative way to leveling up and farming pp. The plan is to have stronger mobs spawn inside the pq and gain lowered exp from each mob + a completion exp reward. We are still working around the issues which may affect the final result due to some limits we encountered. but we hope to find a way to break those limitations and provide a fun PQ for you to do for leveling up for those who rather PQ than grind.

Halloween Event
We have decided that Halloween deserves an event! This is a test run for the first seasonal event out of many. except for the event stuff planned, some changes may be required to existing content such as Witch’s belts for example. but this is part of a longer term plan to do some changes regarding these belts. other than that, i don't wanna spoil anything about the event, will release event info as we come closer to the event time.

Chaos Horntail
As part of our work on chaos bosses, this is the next planned boss to be released. It will have more acc to be part of the boss acc set, including chtp, silver blossom ring and dea sidus earrings. this boss will be between Czak and VL in difficulty.

Czak and Mage formula
We are aware of the hiccups with those and are still working on fixing and adjusting these as we go. Your feedback about these bugs and issues is helping a lot! Please let us know if you encounter anything and share your thoughts about it so we can polish it to perfection!



what’s next?

After the Halloween event update we are going to continue focusing on finishing the release of the planned bosses for beta, while also adjusting gear progression until we have it where we want it. Once we finish these things we can dive into balancing and improving existing content. But there are a few more things that are planned for the near future.

Gacha
we heard you loud and clear about the recently added scrolls to gold gacha, and we plan to revisit gacha again after the Halloween update. We want to expand the pool and we might adjust some scroll drops and add more scrolls to gacha to add value. We don't have a decided solution yet but we will improve gacha based on your feedback.

Bosses
The bosses currently planned to be added are Chaos Pink bean, and Cygnus. and with that we will finish up our bosses for launch. We will consider adding earlier bosses maybe but currently that is not planned. with these bosses we will have more items for the boss acc set and a new level 140 set!

4th job cygnus
After considering this issue for a while, we plan to add a 4th job to cygnus. currently cygnus knight is pretty much a dead class which takes away from the variety of classes. Because of that, we were torn between removing them completely or adding a 4th job to them. Overall, the decision was made to make a 4th job for them which will require balancing around and polishing but we believe it will be best to add variety rather than take it away.

Tutorials
Currently the tutorial changes went through only for adventurers for a test period. Next, we plan on reworking aran and cygnus tutorials to have the same elements.

PQs and PQs
Once we finish up pyramid pq the next step is to create a custom pq for higher levels (not decided but something like 160+ or even 180+). The custom pq goal is to allow another way of farming and gaining mesos and valuable items rather than grinding and bossing. It won't necessarily give out the same items and valuables but it would benefit those who run it. Once we do that, our plan is to adjust all pqs to be a viable path to leveling up. so you can choose your path to leveling up rather than be forced into one way or the other.



Long Term



As we continue to work on all these things, we set our eyes to the future of KuroMS and have long term plans to improve the experience.

Seasonal events
After doing our first test run with Halloween, our plan is to slowly but surely prepare more seasonal events. Those require lots of work, but our goal is to have events ready for the whole year. whether it’s holidays or just themed events. We aim to create year round events. We also plan to adjust and improve the auto events.

Casino
something that came up because of the liking to gambling (aka gachapon), and we plan on adding to it. We still haven’t laid the foundations for this idea but the general plan is to have a map with npcs with different gambling methods to win or lose mesos, items, etc. we want to have options of player VS house and Player VS Player. If you have any suggestions feel free to voice those in our Suggestions channel in discord!

Level cap + post 200 content
After some consideration, we have decided to have these be released post launch. as it will enable us to provide a better experience and better content.

Improving KuroMS
Once we finish up all the mentioned things, we will focus entirely on improving the KuroMS experience. whether through bug fixes until there are none (or at least very few), adjusting existing content, adding some fun factor stuff like seasonal events and gm events, balancing out the classes and expanding fashionstory. We will be able to start planning for launch, BUT KEEP IN MIND THIS IS STILL TBD!
